Dear Colleagues & Friends, On behalf of TSVA – the Thai Swine Veterinarian Association and the Thai people, we are pleased to invite you to attend the 8th International Symposium on Emerging and Re-emerging Pig Diseases (ISERPD) and the 5th International Workshop on Streptococcus suis (IWSs) to be held at IMPACT Forum, Muang Thong Thani from June 4th to June 7th, 2023. Many reasons why you shouldn’t miss the 8th ISERPD & the 5th IWSS in Thailand are that our event will gather the world´s greatest researchers and specialists in the swine emerging pathogens and current management strategies creating a perfect environment for the exchange of knowledge and experiences under the theme “Healthy Pigs, Hygienic Pork, Happy People” promoting the cooperation among global swine practitioners. As a second to none when it comes to a unique culture, Thailand, the land of smile, offers excellent infrastructure to host many international events regularly. Being the main destination in Southeast Asian countries, the city of Bangkok, the most visit tourist center in Thailand for its well-known hospitality and professional services, welcomes you with its arms wide open to the 8th ISERPD & the 5th IWSs after recovering from the Covid-19 epidemic situation. We are preparing a special hybrid event (online & on-site) with special online translators for Chinese participants to ensure that the entire global ISERPD community can benefit from our speakers’ experience and expertise and to assist you enjoy your exquisite experiences here onsite or via our online event. Again, the early bird registration and abstract submission have been extended to April 30th, 2023. Last but not least, certificate of attendance will be prepared for all participants upon requested and the organizing committee would like to thank all supporting sponsors and all contributing speakers for their endless support.
